Transplanting Blueberries - Wisconsin Garden Video Blog 587. http://www.WisconsinGarden.com After several years of minimal production we are transplanting blueberries into a more acid soil mixture in open bottom containers. After cutting away the bottoms of our plastic containers we added 50/50 mixture of aged cow manure with the existing soil and then added an appropriate amount of sulfur to amend our alkaline soil. With the help of our son Skye, Richard and I completed transplanting all of our blueberries into new territory where we now have a better opportunity in maintaining the proper PH for these acid loving plants. Now it’s time to water them thoroughly and watch them flourish.
